The cage bearings are reinforced, meaning the two steel flanges joined by spacers are thicker to allow for countersink riveting.
These cages therefore cannot be de-riveted, even when faced with lateral flange wear of up to 1.5 mm, because the rollers are held by shanks directed in the lateral flanges.
For ROULTEX roller bearings of diameters from 215 to 450 mm, the cages are also reinforced with a greater number of rollers. They have 12% more rollers than standard cages.
This gives ROULTEX bearings a 12% higher load capacity and greater operational safety in the event of overloading or impacts.
